THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
This campaign was a lot of hard work, but a lot of fun as well! Thank you to everyone who took the time to talk with me at the Millbury Street Fair, football games, Trunk-or-Treat, at parent pick up after school, or just when out and about. Thank you to everyone who answered their door and took the time to talk to me when I was out canvassing. Thank you to everyone who bought a t-shirt, wore a button, or put up a yard sign. Thank you to everyone who read my text message, followed me on Facebook or Instagram, read my flyer, or checked out my website. And thank you to everyone who voted for me! I am overwhelmed by your support and so appreciative that you have trusted me with this great responsibility. I am ready to get to work for our students, our school, and out community. Thank you!
I am Nathan Cooper and I am running for Lake Board of Education.
Running for the Board of Education is something I have considered for several years. I made the decision to run in 2025 because I believe that I have the time, vision, and energy to devote myself to this community in this role over the next four years.
I believe that I am in a unique position to represent many of the voices that need to be heard when making decision for our schools.
As the father of two elementary school students I understand the importance of parents being involved and investing in their children's education.
As the husband of a Lake Middle School teacher I understand the importance of being a lifelong learner.
As the son of an elementary school teacher and a pastor I understand the importance of being a good citizen and treating everyone with respect.
As a police and fire dispatcher I understand the importance of safety and preparation for our community.
As a product of the public school system in Ohio I understand the important role public education plays in society.
As the treasurer for the Lake Elementary PTO and as a tax payer I understand the importance of fiscal responsibly.
As a Lake Township resident I understand that strong schools are the cornerstone of our strong community.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I hope that I can earn your vote on November 4!
